Johnny Guirke TD Sinn Féin Welcomes Appointment to Budgetary Oversight Committee and Commits to Supporting Rural Communities in Meath

Sinn Féin TD Johnny Guirke has expressed his enthusiasm for his recent appointment to the Budgetary Oversight Committee, with a particular focus on Social Protection, Community, and Rural Development.
Commenting on his new role, Deputy Guirke said:
"I am delighted to be part of the Budgetary Oversight Committee at this crucial time. I am committed to ensuring that the voices of rural communities are heard and that their needs are prioritized in our national budget and development plans."
He added:
"In Meath, too many towns and villages continue to lack the development and investment necessary for sustainable growth. I will work tirelessly to highlight these issues and advocate for greater support from local authorities to improve infrastructure, services, and opportunities for our rural residents."
Deputy Guirke concluded:
