Trim GAA appoint Ken Robinson as new Senior Football Manager and Des Teeling as Head Coach

Trim GAA have appointed Ken Robinson as new Senior Football Manager and  with Des Teeling coming in as Head Coach.

Robinson comes with a wealth of experience has he previously been a coach with Westmeath Senior Men’s Football in 2021 and was also a Coach with the Dublin Senior Ladies Football, winning All Ireland senior championship 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and NFL 2018. Most recently Ken oversaw Edenderry GAA Senior Football team.

Des Teeling is another great addiction to the management ticket. The former Slane manager brought Slane GAA to 7 finals and won 5 finals in a 2-year spell.

 Fergal Lynch and Kevin Walsh come in as selectors to complete the management team.

Trim Gaa made the announcement on Social media.

“Fáilte mhór roimh CLG Átha Troim, CLG Átha Troim are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Senior Football Management team of Ken Robinson Manager, Des Teeling Head Coach and Fergal Lynch and Kevin Walsh as selectors.  Fergal previously managed our two Premier Football teams with good success and his knowledge of opposition teams, both as a previous manager and his extensive knowledge from his “day job” should provide great back up to Ken and Des.  Kevin Walsh has recently managed underage teams and will assist in the progression of young players onto the adult teams.”

“Ken boasts an extensive club career over all Codes and has now taken on our Red & Whites. We’d like to wish Ken, Des, Fergal and Kevin the best of luck with our football team in 2025.   The lads are already up training with league fixtures starting in the next couple of weeks so be sure and give them a warm Áth Troim welcome.”
