Village park and tourism destination set for Slane Square as MCC to buy landmark House

Great News for people of Slane and The Boyne Valley as Meath County Council look set to buy one of the 4 Landmark houses on the Square in Slane Co. Meath and turn it into a village park and tourism craft centre.


The announcement was made by Laytown-Bettystown Councillor and Slane resident Wayne Harding.


He took to social media to make the big announcement . He said,

"Great News for Slane and The Boyne Valley today. After working with Pat Doyle over the last two years, Lev Mitchell and Paddy Watters Auctioneers have informed me that they have received a deposit from Meath County Council for the purchase of one of the 4 landmark houses at Slane Square and 8.3 acres for a community, tourism craft quarter and village park."
